The hilarious and heartwarming comedy Love Reset, starring Kang Ha Neul and Jung So Min, is not only dominating the box office but is also catching fire internationally.

Love Reset showcases the comedic plight of two individuals who, just before finally accepting the end of each other’s quirks and idiosyncrasies, suffer from a bout of mutual amnesia.

Since its U.S. release on October 6th, Love Reset also had its Philippine debut on October 18th. That’s not the end. The confirmed release dates are already in place for Indonesia on November 1st, Thailand on November 9th, and Vietnam on November 10th. And there’s more. A seasoned Chinese production and distribution company that has been a heavy hitter in the Chinese box office for producing over 50 projects in a decade has secured the remake rights to Love Reset.

The international sales team at Barunson E&A had a hunch about the film’s global potential. “We knew Love Reset would garner high interest for remakes due to its unique concept, consistently hilarious situations, and charming characters,” the team stated. They have been actively pitching the film to overseas production companies, and the response has been nothing short of “hot.”

Moreover, inquiries for remakes are continually pouring in from various corners of the world, including Southeast Asia, France, and the U.S., amplifying the likelihood of additional remakes beyond China. “Given that Love Reset has been a hot topic since its Korean release, consistently topping the box office charts, international distributors are riding high on expectations as they gear up for its release,” they added.
