Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Min Ho, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, and Nana are teaming up for Omniscient Reader, the upcoming movie with 300 million won ($223,308) budget.

Based on the web novel of the same name, Omniscient Reader follows the journey of Kim Dok Ja as he strives to save a world that suddenly starts to adhere to the plot of the web novel he was reading. The upcoming film will be directed by Kim Byung Woo, known for The Terror Live, and produced by Realies Pictures, the same production company behind the Along with the Gods series.
Ahn Hyo Seop takes on the role of Kim Dok Ja, who forms an alliance with his comrades, including Yoo Joong Hyuk, to revert the world to its former state. This new film marks the actor’s debut in the world of cinema.
Lee Min Ho will portray Yoo Joong Hyuk, who unexpectedly finds himself as the protagonist of the novel he was reading. He feels responsible for saving the world due to his extraordinary ability to return to the past even after death, but this ability makes him grow cold-hearted.
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo makes her big-screen debut in Omniscient Reader as Lee Ji Hye, sharing the limelight with Kim Dok Ja and Yoo Jung Hyuk. Nana transforms into Jung Hee Won, a strong-willed woman who cannot tolerate injustice. Chae Soo Bin plays Dok Ja’s former co-worker, Yoo Sang Ah, who embarks on this new journey with him.
Shin Seung Ho joins as Lee Hyun Sung, a former soldier with unwavering determination. Park Ho San and The Glory star Jung Sung Il are also set to make appearances in the show.
Realies Pictures has secured a deal to produce up to five episodes of Omniscient Reader. If the first installment proves successful, it is expected to lead to a follow-up series, much like Along with the Gods. Filming for the new film is scheduled to commence in December.
