tvN has unveiled a third teaser trailer and poster for Castaway Diva, featuring Park Eun Bin, Chae Jong Hyeop, and Cha Hak Yeon.
Castaway Diva tells the story of an aspiring singer named Seo Mok Ha (played by Park Eun Bin) who gets rescued from a deserted island after 15 years.
Chae Jong Hyeop takes on the role of producer Kang Bo Gul, while Cha Hak Yeon joins as news reporter Kang Woo Hak. As siblings, the two are expected to showcase their strong chemistry with Seo Mok Ha.
The new poster captures a picturesque moment with Seo Mok Ha, Kang Bo Gul, and Kang Woo Hak enjoying fireworks against a serene ocean. The blazing flames illuminate the night, building up the romantic atmosphere.
The third teaser sheds light on the character Ki Ho in Seo Mok Ha’s memory. Despite her efforts to find the person who encouraged her to pursue her dream, it seems challenging for them to reunite after such a long time.
As the note reads, “It will come true one day if you wish it so bad.” Mok Ha decides to persistently pursue her goal with the assistance of Kang Bo Gul and Kang Woo Hak. Anticipation is growing regarding whether she will manage to locate Ki Ho and fulfill her dream of becoming a singer with their support.

PEB will of course do her best, she is perhaps one of the most captivating actress we have seen for awhile, but I can’t help but think that as talented as she is, she might not be able to save this drama. On the face of it and based on the release of some of the footage, I have my reservations. The character may have been trapped in her teens, 30 in age but 15 mentally seeing the character’s childish mannerism. PEB is generally quite goofy in real life (part of her charm) and adorable. We often see the goofiness spilling over into her dramas and in her fan meetings. She is of course beautiful, kind and respectful, almost too respectful at times and super talented. I will still watch the drama when it comes out because she is addictive rather than because of the storyline and script which seem far fetched though no one can accuse Kdramas of being realistic. Even a great actress needs a break from serious work sometimes for a bit of fun. Besides, Tom Hanks had already taken the castaway story line down the serious believable route. BINGOs will love her no matter what she does anyway, that’s what fans do. Quite right!
