Jung So Min shared what it was like filming her upcoming movie 30 Days at a press premiere event held on September 18th.
30 Days is a comedy film that tells the story of a married couple, Jung Yeol (played by Kang Ha Neul) and Nara (Jung So Min), as they lose 3000 days of memory together while returning from court after filing for divorce.
The actress plays Nara, a talented yet wacky film producer, in the film. Explaining what it was like playing the character for the film, she said, “I had so much fun while filming for the show. Nara’s the type who’s super upfront and doesn’t beat around the bush. So, playing her was like a total release for me.”
It is Jung So Min’s second time working with director Nam Dae Joong for a film. The actress remarked, “As someone who’s a huge fan of the director’s works, I totally lost track of time when I was going through the script. Once we were on set, the creative energy led us to come up with some fantastic ideas that brought those hilarious scenes to life.”
She also opened up about how her perspective on marriage changed during her work on this film, which revolves around a married couple facing divorce. “I didn’t have a fixed idea of what marriage meant to me before this. One thing that really struck me is that it’s hard to find someone who truly understands you and embraces the differences. Nonetheless, I do genuinely hope that Nara and Jung Yeol manage to stay together,” she shared.
30 Days will hit theaters on October 30th.
