The Cannes-acclaimed film Hopeless released its preview trailer.
Hopeless follows the story of a young boy named Yeon Gyu (by Hong Xa Bin) who, desperate to escape his hellish reality, finds himself entangled in a dangerous world after meeting Chi Geon (Song Joong Ki), a mid-level boss in a crime syndicate.
The bond between Yeon Gyu and Chi Geon, who share similar scars, will deeply resonate with the audience. Yeon Gyu’s younger sister, Ha Yan (BIBI), adds to the charm with her bold yet loving character who dearly cares for his brother Yeon Gyu.
After its screening at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival, it received enthusiastic responses from international media and critics, including praise from a French news outlet, stating, “Hopeless offers a fresh and instinctive viewing experience.”
Hopeless will hit theaters on October 11th.
