The 28th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) is rolling out the red carpet once again for its highly-anticipated Actors’ House event. Launched in 2021, this unique series has quickly become a fan favorite, offering movie buffs intimate conversations with some of today’s most celebrated actors.

This year, the spotlight is on Youn Yuh Jung, the Korean powerhouse who snagged an Oscar for Minari. Known for her keen insights and sharp wit, Youn is expected to drop some serious wisdom at the event. She recently dazzled audiences as Sun Ja in the Apple TV series Pachinko.

Joining her is the multifaceted Han Hyo Joo, who’s returning to BIFF with her latest venture, Believer 2. Han has been making waves in genres from romance to action, most notably in the Disney Plus original series Moving.

Song Joong Ki will also be making his Busan comeback with Hopeless, a film that’s already generating Cannes buzz. Song, a familiar face at BIFF, has been impressing viewers with his versatile acting chops in projects like Vincenzo and Reborn Rich.

Adding to the Hollywood glitz is Korean-American actor John Cho, known for breaking barriers in Tinseltown. His recently published memoir Troublemaker will likely be a hot topic during the discussions.

For those eager to rub elbows with cinematic royalty, tickets are available for 9,000 KRW (approx. $7.65 USD), with all proceeds benefiting the international relief organization Save the Children.
