UZUROCKS CEO has been cleared of fraud charges after being accused of not paying his company’s talents and employees.

According to the Seoul Gangnam Police, UZUROCKS’ CEO Park was released without detention on charges of fraud on September 7th. The decision reportedly came after the police found no evidence to support the allegations against Park.

Song Ji Hyo has sent five letters of explanation to her former agency, UZUROCKS, for unpaid settlements amounting to 900 million won ($679,665). Three months ago, the actress sued the company over the unpaid settlements and filed a lawsuit against the company for violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Certain Economic Crimes (embezzlement).

Moreover, reports indicate that the company’s employees have not been paid. In response, they have filed a complaint with the Korea Employment and Labor Service to report Park for wage arrears.

However, the payment issue has not been resolved. A representative from UZUROCKS explained in response, saying, “The settlement payment is being delayed, but we continue to secure investments. We apologize to Ms. Song for the delay. Once the investment case is resolved, we plan to settle the dispute before anything else.”
