SBS’ music show Inkigayo is going on a three-week break at the end of this month.
On September 5th, News1 reported that Inkigayo will not air on September 24th, October 1st, and 8th. The 24th episode will be canceled due to the broadcast of the Hangzhou Asian Games, and the two October episodes will be canceled due to the Chuseok holiday. Instead, the October 8th episode will feature the Inkigayo Live concert in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, Inkigayo will hold a live concert in Tokyo from October 3rd to 4th at Ariake Arena in Japan. This upcoming event marks the first time in 27 years that the music program goes overseas to host one of its K-pop festivals.
