Ahn Bo Hyun and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo are in a romantic relationship, which has shone a fresh light on Ahn’s past comments about his “dream girl.”
Ahn appeared on MBC’s I Live Alone in March 2020 and proclaimed he wasn’t dating anyone at the time. When asked about his dream girl, he revealed it to be “a woman who is good to her parents.”
The actor also touched upon his ideal partner on his YouTube channel the same year, saying, “I like someone passionate about their work; those who love and take care of themselves and have self-respect.” During his appearance on tvN’s Sixth Sense 2 aired in September 2021, he confessed to having a preference for “cheerful ladies.”
As it turns out, Jisoo perfectly embodies all the qualities Ahn Bo Hyun has described as ideal – she’s bright, passionate about her work, and exudes self-love.
Earlier today, Jisoo’s agency YG Entertainment released an official statement, “Jisoo and Ahn Bo Hyun are getting to know each other with good feelings. We would appreciate it if you could look at them with warm eyes.” Ahn Bo Hyun’s agency FN Entertainment also acknowledged the dating rumors.
This is the first publicly disclosed romance within BLACKPINK. The pair have reportedly grown close through shared interests in acting, music, and fashion, and it’s whispered that love is blossoming.
Following the revelation, attention was brought back to a recent event that Jisoo and Ahn had both attended. The two were both invited and were present at the VIP screening of the film Smugglers on July 20th. Although their relationship had not been made public at the time, it turns out the lovebirds were indeed together at the event.
