Junho and YoonA’s latest Netflix drama King the Land has dethroned Celebrity as Netflix’s most-watched non-English drama.
According to FlixPatrol, King the Land amassed an impressive 4.6 million views and 51.8 million watch hours as of July 19th, climbing up from the second spot to the coveted No.1 position.
King the Land had initially claimed the top spot on the global list in the fourth week of June before Celebrity bumped it down. However, the JTBC drama quickly reclaimed the No.1 position within two weeks.
The reason behind its resurgence seems to be attributed to its late release in South America and India. After being launched on July 13th in these two regions, the show quicky entered the Top 10 list in around 20 South American areas and dominated the rankings in Brazil, Honduras, and Venezuela.
Furthermore, King the Land is continuing its popularity among teen viewers.
