Drama Ranking for the 1st Week of July

‘JTBC’s King the Land continues to maintain a firm grip on the top spot in the weekly rankings. Although viewers applauded a kissing scene between Junho and YoonA, the show has faced criticism over its portrayal of an Arab prince. Most notably, viewers from Arab-speaking countries voiced their intense disapproval. In response to this, the production company released two public apologies. SBS’s Revenant also holds steady in second place. Kim Tae Ri’s performance as San Young, who is possessed by an evil spirit, has drawn rave reviews, giving viewers the chills. Netflix’s Celebrity ranks third, with Park Gyu Young receiving widespread praise for her performance and stunning visuals. The scene in which Kang Min Hyuk’s rich heir character Han Jun Kyung takes off his shoes with the help of a maid has sparked considerable discussion. Meanwhile, ENA’s Lies Hidden in My Garden came in fourth. As the show nears its finale, viewers are increasingly curious about the fate of the characters played by Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon. The tvN’s upcoming weekend drama The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch, set to air on July 29th, has clinched the seventh spot.
