Park Seo Joon shared how he came to join the cast of Concrete Utopia and responded to his recent dating rumors with a famous South Korean Youtuber at the press event for his upcoming film. Other attendees at the event are director Um Tae Hwa, Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Young, Kim Sung Young, Park Ji Hu and Kim Do Yoon.

Park Seo Joon joined the cast as Min Seong who tries to protect his family. He shared, “This role is very different from the ones I have played before. I loved by the complexity of the character and the range of emotions he expressed throughout the show. Moreover, I’ve always been a big fan of Lee Byung Hun, and it has been my dream to work with him. Although I didn’t initially receive the offer for this project, I expressed my desire to be part of the show and fortunately got the role. I put significant effort and time into depicting this intricate character.”

Talking about working with Park Bo Young, he shared an intriguing story about their wedding photo shoot. Recalling it being their first work together on the movie, he said, “I got dressed first and waited for Bo Young to appear in her wedding dress. Even though it was just for a prop photo shoot, it made me contemplate the relationship between Myeong Hwa and Min Seung.”

Meanwhile, the actor responded to his recent dating rumors, stating, “I found out about it late yesterday because I am currently filming another project. My initial thought was that I am receiving a lot of attention, and I felt grateful for that attention. Personally, I feel significantly pressured when it comes to opening up about my private life, and it is difficult for me to share specific details about personal matters. I hope people focus on the movie instead.”
