Reborn Rich actress Park Ji Hyun is set to reunite with Do You Like Brahms? director Jo Young Min in the upcoming drama, Eun Jung and Sang Yeon (literal title).
Sports Chosun reported on the 11th, “Park Ji Hyun will be the lead in the new drama Eun Jung and Sang Yeo.” The actress’s agency Namoo Actors confirmed, “She’s positively considering the offer to star as Cheon Sang Yeon.”
Eun Jung and Sang Yeon is a female-driven narrative that captures the story of a drama writer and a film producer who reconnect after a falling out.
If she joins the project, Park Ji Hyun will play the role of renowned film producer Cheon Sang Yeon. Cheon Sang Yeon has been best friends with Ryu Eun Jung, the role Kim Go Eun is in talks for, since elementary school, but the two part ways due to a particular incident, only to meet again as adults. The reason for their falling out and how they will rekindle their relationship is expected to be the main focus of the show.
Last year, Park Ji Hyun showcased her stunning beauty and elegant poise when she portrayed Song Joong Ji’s sister-in-law, Mo Hyeon Min, in the drama Reborn Rich. Following this, she took on a lead role in the upcoming SBS drama Chaebol X Detective (literal title).
Furthermore, for Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, Park Ji Hyun will be reuniting with director Jo Young Min, who she previously worked with on Do You Like Brahms?
Meanwhile, Eun Jung and Sang Yeon will be produced by Kakao Entertainment, with director Jo Young Min joining forces with The Smile Has Left Your Eyes writer Song Hye Jin.
