Namkoong Min made a surprise appearance in the trailer for Taxi Driver 2.
In the Episode 9 trailer for the drama, Kim Do Gi (played by Lee Je Hoon) is asked to take revenge on the head of the hospital who accidentally killed a patient during surgery. A tough fight seems to be on Do Gi’s way as his target is a respected doctor born into a wealthy family with an excellent career.
As Do Gi faces the biggest crisis of his life, an unexpected person appears in front of him: Cheon Ji Hoon (Namkoong Min) from One Dollar Lawyer. He visits the Rainbow Transportation office and asks, “Excuse me. Can I borrow a coin?” The trailer ends with Do Gi turning his back to him.
Viewers watched the trailer and showed enthusiastic responses, even to his brief appearance. The combination of two different worlds added to the enjoyment of the drama. Expectations are high on whether Namkoong Min will become Do Gi’s new client.
Namkoong Min made a cameo appearance in Taxi Driver 2 to express his thanks to Lee Je Hoon. The actor previously made cameos as the CEO of an IT company in Hot Stove League and as a top star in One Dollar Lawyer.
Namkoong Min will appear in the drama on the 24th.
