Cosmopolitan Korea has shared a video interview featuring Lee Do Hyun discussing his thoughts on Part 3 of The Glory on its official YouTube channel.
The star has picked “I’ll be your executioner” as the best line from his character, Joo Yeo Jeong. He stated, “That line was the toughest one for me in the whole show. It felt like a huge mountain that I needed to climb over.”
The actor’s photoshoot was scheduled the day after the release of The Glory Part 2. When asked if he had seen the entire series, he replied, “I wasn’t able to watch it due to other filming commitments, but I’m looking forward to binge-watching it on my day of.” He then asked the crew about their favorite scene from Part 2, and they chose the one where Joo Yeo Jeong, dressed in a doctor’s gown, stares at imprisoned Kang Young Chun.
Regarding the scene, Lee Do Hyun said, “Lee Moo Saeng filmed something else with me before returning with a completely different makeup. He looked like he had been severely beaten by someone, so when I saw him like that, it helped me to better portray my character since it was my character who caused him to look that way.” The production team then jokingly commented, “That’s why we think there might be a Part 3,” to which Lee Do Hyun replied, “It would be nice to have a Part 3. I won’t comment any further.”
