The movie Comment Army (working title) confirmed the casting of Son Suk Ku, Kim Sung Chul, Kim Dong Hwi, and Hong Kyung and began filming on the 6th.
Comment Army centers around journalist Lim Sang Jin (Son Suk Ku) getting to the bottom of a shocking truth surrounding a troll farm that he was doing a cover on.
My Liberation Notes and Casino star Son Suk Ku steps into the role of Lim Sang Jin, a newspaper journalist who seeks reinstatement after being suspended for writing an article exposing a conglomerate’s tyranny. While looking into a suspicious tip-off he received, he uncovers the existence of a troll farm.
Joining the cast as members of the troll farm “Alep” are Kim Sung Chul, Kim Dong Hwi, and Hong Kyung. Our Beloved Summer actor Kim Sung Chul plays “Jingpeutking,” who shows a quick-witted response to earning a quick buck. Stranger 2 actor Kim Dong Hwi doubles the tension of the story as “Chattatkat” who tips off about the troll farm to Lim Sang Jin. Weak Hero Class 1 star Hong Kyung turns into “Peptaek” who gets addicted to the power of manipulating public opinion.
Starting the movie on the 6th, Son Suk Ky shared, “I’m glad to be able to work with people I wanted to work with. I really want us to work together to create a great project.”
