Lee Seung Gi expressed his affection for his wife, Lee Da In, in an interview with GQ Korea magazine.
The interview was held on the day of his marriage announcement. When asked how he felt about sharing the news, he replied, “I feel calm and at ease, because I had already made the decision to marry her a long time ago. Since I’ve committed to spending the rest of my life with her, I feel very relaxed. She’s someone I love deeply and who has always been by my side. However, writing the letter was nerve-wracking beyond words.”
The actor also touched on his past dispute with his former agency, Hook Entertainment. He revealed, “I wasn’t okay until 2022, but since the new year began, my mindset and mood have shifted. I feel somewhat lighter now, and I’m working on getting back on my feet. Having a reason to do so has helped.”
Lee Seung Gi donated all of his unpaid earnings, totaling $3.79 million, once they were returned to him by his former agency. When asked about his recent donations, he shared, “Every donation is valuable, but these donations were particularly special because it was my hard-earned money. It’s so precious that words can’t describe it. That money represents all the stress, pain, and despair I experienced in my youth. That’s why I wanted to spend it in a meaningful way and see firsthand how it was being used.”
