Woo Jin Yong became the final winner of Netflix’s Physical: 100. Jung Hae Min, Park Jin Yong, Jo Jin Hyeong and Kim Min Chul came in second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
Born in 1986, Woo Jin Yong graduated from the Department of Physical Education at Chung-Ang University and received a master’s degree at the Chung-Ang Graduate School of Physical Education. He picked up snowboarding in 1998 and left for Vancouver in 2008 for language learning.
While studying in Canada, he acquired a snowboard instructor license and started his career as a professional snowboard cross athlete in 2009.
Three years later in 2012, he became the first cross-national snowboarding athlete of South Korea and stayed active as a national athlete for six years until 2017. He is currently working as a crossfitter.
After winning the final round, the avid crossfitter shared, “I had quality time having blast while competing with those whom I admired since my childhood, which was such an honor to me. And it feels great to take home $229,698 as well.”
