Yoo Yeon Seok shared his thoughts about his recently-concluded drama The Interest of Love during an interview.
When asked how he feels about ending the show, the actor responded, “I’m glad that the drama formed its huge fan base. I heard that viewers has had heated discussions over the show. Many people contacted me to cheer me up. While watching the drama’s real-time comments, I came across one of them saying ‘What a frustrating story.” I also agree on that comment. It makes you give a lot of thought and some scenes are even not understandable and quite upsetting. But if you think about it, that’s what makes the show more immersive. I think people watched the show knowing the protagonists’ heart-breaking love.”
Meanwhile, the star and Moon Ga Young’s kiss scene in the drama created a huge buzz. He said, “I really liked the lines that were said before the kiss scene. The line of ‘I will lose to you(Soo Young).’ didn’t mean actual defeat. It meant that he will give up his feeling of trying to push her away.”
He added, “Kiss scenes are like action scenes which should be previously laid out with the cinematographer and the director. In order to get a pretty shot of the kiss scene, lots of things should be considered including the angle. It’s more like an action scene that an emotional one.”
