Jung_E topped the global Netflix chart for two days in a row.
According to FlixPatrol, the recent sci-fi movie debuted at No.1 globally on Netflix in 31 countries including South Korea and the United States.
Jung_E follows a group of individuals attempting to succeed in brain cloning robots of legendary mercenary Jung E (played by Kim Hyun Joo), who is the key to victory in the 22nd century when civil war broke out in a shelter shell built by mankind, at a time when living on Earth was no longer suitable due to climate change.
The upcoming film marks Train to Busan director Yeon Sang Ho’s new film and the posthumous work of Kang Soo Yeon.
However, the movie is currently receiving mixed reviews. It is rated 5.4 on IMDB. Some love it for its cool action scenes and beautiful visuals while others hate it for its poor scripts and tacky CGIs.
