VIXX’s Leo, Ken, and Hyuk will be resuming the group promotion.

On the 19th, now 3-member group VIXX will appear on Mnet’s M Countdown. The three will be performing the medley of “Shangri-La,” “Chained Up,” and “Voodoo Doll” that they performed at the concert “ING – As Always.” It is the first time in 5 years since 2018 that VIXX will appear on a music show as a team, exciting the fans.

Leo, Ken, and Hyuk have been actively promoting under the name VIXX, such as releasing a song to celebrate the 10th debut anniversary and holding fan concerts at home and abroad.

However, Ravi, another VIXX member who hasn’t been taking part in the group promotion, has been the target of allegations that he hired a broker to fabricate his health records to avoid performing his required military service as an active duty. A few days after the news broke out, Leo and Ken canceled the fan sign events scheduled for the 14th and 15th. Though the agency didn’t specify the reason for the cancellation, many speculated the ongoing scandal surrounding Ravi was the reason.

Ravi may soon be the subject of a police inquiry for hiring a broker who assisted 70 to 100 persons in avoiding military duty by faking diseases like epilepsy. The artist could spend as little as one year or as much as five years in prison if police find him guilty. Furthermore, before serving their prison terms, anyone who was found to have avoided mandatory military service must reenlist.

The remaining VIXX member N, who is concentrating on his acting career, won’t be taking part in the group’s promotions for the time being.
