Disney Plus Series Connect released new still photos, opening the door to the unique worldview where a new type of human called “Connect” exists.
“Connect,” also the name of the title, refers to a new human race with an immortal body. No matter how badly they’re hurt, “Connect” has a special ability to heal and recover its own body using the tentacles that literally “reconnect” the body parts. This new type of race was completed in the hands of Takashi Miike, raising expectations.
Connect follows Dong Soo (Jung Hae In), one of the new immortal humans named “Connect,” after he loses an eye to organ traffickers. When he realizes that his eye was transplanted into the body of a serial killer (Ko Kyung Pyo) who’s turned the country upside down, he starts a thrilling pursuit after him.
Alongside these two characters who’ll paint out the intense pursuit, there are Yi Rang (Kim Hye Jun), who knows the secret of “Connect” and approaches Dong Soo, and Detective Choi (Kim Roi Ha), who digs into the corpse art serial killer case.
Meanwhile, Connect will be released in December.
