Namkoong Min and Jin Ah Reum will be tying the knot after seven years of dating.
On September 28th, Namkoong Min’s agency 935 Entertainment stated, “Namkoong Min and his longtime girlfriend Jin Ah Reum will officially be tying the knot. The wedding will be held somewhere in Seoul on October 7th, with close friends and families in attendance. As the ceremony will be held privately, we ask for your understanding that we cannot offer additional details.”
Namkoong Min and Jin Ah Reum started seeing each other after meeting as a director and an actress in the 2015 film Light My Fire. As the dating rumors surfaced online in 2016, the two confirmed their relationship and went public immediately.
The couple has publicly talked about each other several times on TV. For instance, Namkoong Min mentioned his girlfriend every time he received an award at various events. When he won the Grand Prize for his role in The Veil at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards, he said, “I love you, and thank you for always being there for me.”
Jin Ah Reum made her guest appearance on KBS’ Happy Together 4 in 2019 and revealed her love story, saying that Namkoong Min first came forward with his feelings. She then describes him as “a man who is more kind and adorable” than herself. The same year, her boyfriend also showed his love for her on JTBC’s Knowing Bros.
