Lee Min Ho showed off his charms in the pictorial for Esquire Korea.
After the photoshoot, the actor sat down for the interview, showing various sides of himself.
First, while talking about the recent Instagram posts, he commented, “I find it dull to see things just flow according to ‘what’s correct’ and I tend to think a lot about how to twist things around.” That’s why he has no problem posting clips or photos that ridicule himself, even enjoying it himself. Then he jokingly added, “Of course I post a lot of things that I think I look awesome in.”
Talk about the Apple TV series Pachinko that became a major hit earlier this year couldn’t be left out. “I feel proud that a story with such a slow speed has been produced with such care and effort in this era,” he shared. “I am really proud of this project. I believe that it unfolded the essential part of history and the story of the people.”
“I think that it is very meaningful that this work came out in the present age,” he continued. “A lot of people committed themselves until it came true, and I also felt that they really are amazing people. And I poured in everything because I knew their efforts and had lots of worries. I think those worries were the beginning. The character Go Han Soo is given important tasks in season 2, so I’ll have to prepare for it.”
Lee Min Ho also dished on his upcoming drama When the Stars Gossip. Though the story itself may not be so profound, it made him approach it with weighty, deep-rooted thoughts. “It doesn’t have to be conveyed, but I think I’ll be glad if someone sees the drama and ends up with the same worries as me,” the actor said.
