Netflix unveiled new posters and a teaser trailer for Glitch.
The upcoming series follows a young woman named Ji Hyo who joins forces with UFO enthusiast Bora to investigate her boyfriend’s sudden disappearance.
The teaser poster shares a glimpse of alien-spotter Hong Ji Hyo (played by Jeon Yeo Bin) and UFO enthusiast Heo Bo Ra (Nana) with serious looks on their faces.
The trailer begins with Ji Hyo witnessing mysterious creatures as they embark on a journey to find her missing boyfriend. The adventure series was born from the imagination of rookie screenwriter Jin Han Sae, who first came up with the idea of the “glitch” one ordinary woman experiences as she realizes her missing boyfriend is no longer on Earth.
CreatorRoh Deok shared, “I tried to make a show with a strong narrative and relatable characters so that viewers can empathize with them as they make their way through the plot,” explaining that she has focused on the character development than making the series into a full-on sci-fi show.
Jeon Yeo Bin plays an ordinary woman named Hong Ji Hyo who has been living a peaceful life up until a mysterious incident happens in her life. Nana will take on the role of Heo Bo Ra, a woman with a fiery personality who doesn’t hesitate to help those she cares for.
Glitch will premiere on October 7th.
