Honey J is reportedly making her singer debut.
According to Sports Chosun, Honey J will release a song of her own and make her debut as a singer. Since her strength is in energetic and sexy performance, mostly to hip-hop songs, it stimulates curiosity as to what kind of song and performance she’ll show as a singer.
Moreover, it’s been reported that Honey J’s close friend and label head Jay Park has helped the dancer with her grand debut. This is another reason people are looking forward to her singer debut. Jay Park and Honey J’s label MORE VISION responded, “Her debut is under discussion, but nothing has been confirmed yet.”
Meanwhile, Honey J is the leader of HolyBang, the dancer team that won Mnet’s hit show Street Woman Fighter. Her line “Watch closely, this is a big sisters’ fight” became the new buzzword. After the show ended, she appeared in several other variety shows, including We Don’t Bite: Street Woman Fighter, Watch Jump like a Witch, and I Live Alone. Most recently, Jay Park launched a new label with HolyBang under the name MORE VISION.
