Drama Ranking for the 4th Week of July
ENA’s Extraordinary Attorney Woo took the top spot for the fifth week. With each episode making headlines, Koo Kyo Hwan‘s cameo appearance in episode 9 and Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh‘s kiss scene in episode 10 drew keen attention. So far, the show has been receiving positive reviews, but some say that they should’ve taken a more careful approach to a sensitive topic like “the disabled’s sexuality and love.” MBC’s Big Mouth debuted at No. 2. The overall story was somewhat familiar, but Lee Jong Suk‘s passionate performance is eye-catching and his “couple chemistry” with YoonA is just so lovely. tvN’s Alchemy of Souls has fallen to third place, but Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min‘s romance is getting enthusiastic support from viewers. SBS’s Today’s Webtoon debuted at No. 4. The fact that it’s the only bright healing drama amid all the crime-related projects, but some are saying that Kim Se Jong‘s character is no different from the one she played in her previous drama, Business Proposal. tvN’s Adamas came in sixth. Ji Sung is flawlessly playing his dual role as expected, and the drama is evaluated as a well-built mystery drama. However, Lee Kyung Young, who played a villain in Again My Life, Why Her?, and Doctor Lawyer, once again took on a similar role, which some are showing negative reactions to.
