‘Pachinko’ Actress Kim Min Ha Is Reportedly Making Her Big Screen Debut in Crime Thriller Film

Kim Min Ha, who rose to stardom with the hit Apple series Pachinko, is reportedly making her big screen debut.

According to YTN star, Kim Min Ha was cast to play the lead role in the movie Exposure (literal title). Exposure is a crime thriller that tells the story of two childhood friends who meet as a murderer and a police officer after 20 years.

Director Chun Sun Young, who acted as the assistant director in Hong Sang Soo’s movie Night and Day, will pen the script and helm the production. If Kim Min Ha joins the show, she’ll play In Sun, who meets her old friend as a murderer who killed a famous writer.

The actress’s agency Saram Entertainment told the media outlet, “She was offered the role and is positively reviewing it.”

Meanwhile, Kim Min Ha made her debut in the web drama Two Women Season 2. Since then, she’s appeared in various projects, including School 2017, Partners for Justice, and Not Alright But It’s Alright. Then earlier this year, she took on the lead role in the Apple series Pachinko, quickly emerging as the new global star.
