Stray Kids released a surprise gift to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the day their fandom name STAY was revealed.

Today, Stray Kids released the new digital single Mixtape: Time Out and its music video. August 1st was the day the group’s fandom name was revealed as STAY, and Stray Kids members wanted to celebrate the special day.

Time Out is a song written by the members while recalling their trip to Gangwon-do. The members spent their latest vacation together as a group, and while recalling the memories of the trip, the boys wrote a song about “throwing away complicated thoughts and worries and just leaving for somewhere to have fun.”

3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), the producers of the group, took part in songwriting and writing the lyrics and used the beautiful sound of the sea they recorded in Gangwon-do. This fourth single is a part of the “Mixtape Project” that Stray Kids has been working on since 2019, following Mixtape: Gone Days (December 2019), Mixtape: On Track (March 2020), and Mixtape: OH (June 2021).

Meanwhile, Stray Kids has been hosting the “2022 STAYweeK” for a week from July 26th to commemorate the 4th anniversary of STAY’s formation.
