Lee Seung Gi is coming back with a rom-com series after a long time.

On Tuesday, KBS’s upcoming drama The Law Cafe unveiled still photos of Lee Seung Gi. In the drama, the actor plays Kim Jung Ho, a landlord who bums around all day long. Even the pictures show him having a meeting with the residents in his building. Then, he enjoys a relaxing moment in the children’s pool he had put out on the rooftop.

Kim Jung Ho, a former prosecutor, has been Kim Yoo Ri’s (Lee Se Young) best friend for 17 years. Although he’s charismatic, he’s actually quite romantic.

“It was the first time that I felt like I was getting healed just from reading the script,” said Lee Seung Gi. “Kim Jung Ho’s MBTI is ENTJ (a commander type) just like me. I’ve connected a lot with the rational and efficient lines.”

Kim Jung Ho is an “ordinary character” that Lee Seung Gi is playing after a while. “I’m acting comfortably, just like how I’m wearing a sweatsuit throughout filming,” he added. “I am sure that viewers will be able to receive warm comfort through various episodes. I’ll do my best to deliver comfort and empathy.”

Meanwhile, The Law Cafe is the new legal romance drama. It tells the story of a former prosecutor-turned-landlord that opens a coffee shop/law firm hybrid with a lawyer. It’s a drama adaptation of the web novel of the same name. The show comes from My Lawyer, Mr. Jo and Good Manager co-director Lee Eun Jin. It’ll premiere on the 29th at 9:50 PM KST.
