Suzy will be leading the new Coupang original series Anna with her solid acting prowess.
Anna tells the story of a woman who starts off by telling a small lie and ends up living someone else’s life. Playing the role of Anna, who ends up living a completely different life because of a small lie, Suzy flawlessly portrays a woman from her late teens to her late 30s, thereby enhancing the overall perfection of the project.
“Through Anna, I got to play a new kind of role that I couldn’t have easily met as an actress,” said Suzy. “Since the character’s psychological changes in the ever so changing circumstances and the passage of time are the key ingredients of this series, I’ll show a whole new side of myself through Anna.”
Based on the novel Intimate Stranger by writer Chung Han Ah, Anna is a new project by A Single Rider director Lee Zoo Young. The full cast includes Suzy, Jung Eun Chae, Kim Jun Han, and Park Ye Young. The show will be released exclusively on Coupang Play this summer.
Meanwhile, Anna will be available through Coupang Play every Friday at 8 PM KST, starting on June 24th.
