Will Lee Ji Ah turn into the first lady?

According to YTN Star, Lee Ji Ah was cast in tvN’s new drama First Lady (literal title). First Lady is a new project by director Choi Young Woo, whose credits include High Society, Good Casting, and One the Woman.

If Lee Ji Ah is really joining the show that centers around Korea’s first lady, she’ll be playing a dual role. One thing to note here is the fact that The Penthouse writer Kim Soon Ok will join the crew as the creator.

This marks the actress’s return to the small screen almost two years after the hit series The Penthouse. In the drama, Lee Ji Ah played Shim Soo Ryun and received great love for her solid performance and graceful styling.

Meanwhile, Lee Ji Ah made her debut in the 2007 drama The Legend and has since starred in Beethoven Virus, The Woman Who Married Three Times, My Mister, and more.
