IU confessed how she got blown away by Kang Dong Won‘s looks when she first saw him in person.
On May 19th, the cast of Broker, Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, IU, and Lee Joo Young, sat down for an interview with KBS2’s Entertainment Company Live.
Recalling her first encounter with Kang Dong Won, IU blushed as she couldn’t stop looking at the dazzling actor.
The singer-turned-actress said, “I was excited to have the chance to work with such experienced actors. I thought I could control myself, but it turned out that I couldn’t. I just couldn’t take my eyes off of Kang Dong Won.”
“I really like IU’s “Only I Didn’t Know.” It is my favorite song. It is amazing that she has countless hit songs,” responded Kang.
Meanwhile, Song Kang Ho also praised the good-looking actor by saying, “People say Kang’s eyes look like the eyes of a deer. Although it’s been almost 12 years since we last worked together, it feels like yesterday.”
Broker was officially invited to screen at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival under the competition section. Song introduced the upcoming movie by saying, “The movie will tell a heartwarming story of a group of people who become like a family more than a real family.”
