The actress played an aspiring fencer named Na Hee Do, who comes across Baek Yi Jin (played by Nam Joo Hyuk) while on her journey to overcome her fears and frustrations. The two showcased a mesmerizing youthful love story in the recently concluded series.
When asked what it was like working with Nam Joo Hyuk, the actress replied, “It was awesome,” with a cute thumbs up. She sang praises to him, saying, “I learned a lot from him. He is such a witty guy who always lightens up the mood. Even when we had some dark scenes, he was always there, full-on ready to bring some positive energies to us. I loved how he used his sense of humor while shooting some of the serious scenes. He is great at making clever improvisations, and I felt that that’s something I should learn from him.”
The star also talked about her chemistry with WJSN’S Bona, Choi Hyun Wook, and Lee Joo Myung. She said, “I used to work with senior actors in my previous works, so I was always the one that they would treat with love and care. But in this drama, I found myself the oldest of all cast members. I was surprised and worried that the age difference would disturb the chemistry among us.” However, she revealed that playing the bubbly and cheerful character helped her get along with younger cast members. She explained, “As we spent more time with one another, we naturally got along and grew closer.”
