Stray Kids debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with their latest smash Oddinary.

On the 28th, Billboard announced via Twitter, “Stray Kids’ Oddinary officially debuts at No. 1 on this week’s Billboard 200. It earns the group its first career No. 1 album and first entry on the chart.” They added, “Oddinary debuts with 110,000 equivalent album units earned in the March 18024 tracking week, according to Lunimate,” announcing that the smash recorded the biggest week of 2022.

This is the third time for a K-pop singer to reach atop of the Billboard 200. Previously, BTS became the first K-pop act to achieve the feat with LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear, released in May 2018. Then the following year, SuperM became the second act to do so with their first mini-album SuperM.

In the meantime, Stray Kids’ Oddinary and its title track “MANIAC” have also entered the UK Official chart for the first time. Oddinary is ranked 95th on the Official Album Chart Top 100 and “MANIAC” at 98th on the Official Singles Chart Top 100.

Oddinary has surpassed 1.3 million pre-orders as of the morning of the 16th. Within two days of its official release, it posted a cumulative sales of 535,540 copies and 853,021 copies in the first week based on the Hanteo Chart.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their second world tour “Stray Kids 2nd World Tour MANIAC” starting in April.
