tvN announced its new romantic comedy drama’s premiere date and its first special teaser trailer. Starring Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Dae, Shooting Star will premiere on April 22nd.
Shooting Stars is an upcoming romantic-comedy series depicting the story of people in the entertainment industry who work hard behind the scenes to make their superstars shine bright in the sky. The released video begins by introducing Gong Tae Sung (Kim Young Dae), a top celebrity who has an irresistible charisma as he poses for a photoshoot, followed by the scene cutting to his staff members running around the office.
The teaser also gives a sneak peek at Oh Han Byeol (Lee Sung Kyung), the PR team leader of Star Force Entertainment who is busy as a bee, and Kang Yu Sung (Yoon Jong Hoon), the head of Management Team 1 who crash on his desk after a tough day at film sets and office.
The leader of Management team 2 Park Ho Young (Kim Yoon Hye), Star Force Entertainment’s legal advisor Do Soo Hyuk (Lee Jung Shin), and On-Style’s fierce reporter Jo Gi Bbeum (Park So Jin) make their individual appearances with a deeper look into the entertainment industry which is far from what it appears. The mysterious ending piques viewers’ interest as Oh Han Byeol runs into Gong Tae Sung with a blush on her face.
