Veteran singer Koo Jun Yup has announced his marriage to Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu.
On his Instagram account, Koo Jun Yup wrote, “I’m getting married. I intend to pull together the knot that I was not able to complete with the woman I loved from 20 years ago. After hearing about her divorce, I searched for her number from 20 years ago to contact her. Fortunately, she was using the same number and we were able to meet again. As we are at an age where we cannot waste our time, I proposed to her to get married, and she said yes. We will be living together after turning in our marriage papers. Please send love and support for my late marriage. Thank you.”
Barbie Hsu also shared the news through her Instagram account. She reposted Koo Jun Yup’s post and wrote, “Life is transient, and I cherish the fleeting moments of happiness. I thank you for taking me to where I am now.”
The couple has reportedly registered their marriage early this month. They first met 20 years ago when Koo Jun Yup was invited on stage by Tarcy Su where Barbie Hsu visited as a guest. Koo Jun Yup previously revealed on a TV show that he had dated Barbie Hsu for about a year.
