Red Velvet’s member Irene is garnering attention among fans.
Recently, an online community gave an update on Irene’s schedule for the month. While the artist had previously captivated the advertising and entertainment industry, her schedule appeared to be utterly empty for the next few months, except for a scheduled radio appearance with Wendy.
This is seen as the aftermath of Irene’s scandal on her alleged behaviors.
Back in October 2020, a make-up artist with 15 years of experience accused the singer of workplace harassment. Irene officially apologized and halted all her promotional activities, and SM Entertainment posted a letter of apology.
After a 10-month hiatus, Irene returned to the music scene as a member of Red Velvet, but the public remained silent. The controversy resurfaced last December when the make-up artist began to take legal actions against Irene’s fans who posted malicious comments.
