MBC’s Radio Star carried out its second installment of The Red Sleeve special on February 2nd, featuring Junho, Lee Se Young, Jang Hye Jin, Oh Dae Hwan, Kang Hoon and Lee Min Ji as guests.

Junho shared his thoughts on the success of his recently concluded drama, The Red Sleeve. He said, “When I was active as a member of 2PM, things didn’t go easy on me. I basically haven’t had much luck in anything I tried back then.” Junho then recalled what his fans had told him to cheer him up. He shared, “My fans once told me that popularity comes and goes like the seasons do, and that was the word that kept me going. I realized that there were so many delightful and monumental moments that I missed and took for granted.”

Later in the show, Lee Se Young revealed that she was drenched in her sweat when she was shooting the library scenes for the drama in mid-summer. Noting the experience as a “library hell,” she recalled, “I was worried about the funny smell coming from my wet hanbok. Kang Hoon used to joke about how my hanbok smelled like the sea every time he walked past me.” The actress also surprised everyone by showing her phone wallpaper. She revealed that she chose to set a photo of Junho as her phone wallpaper to get more into character and immerse herself more deeply in their fictional romance.

At the end of the episode, The Red Sleeve stars performed “My Castle,” parodying 2PM’s massive hit song ‘My House.’ Junho had previously made a promise that he would dance to 2PM’s song in his full imperial robe if the drama’s viewership ratings go above 15 percent. Junho kept his promise as he danced to the song in a royal robe, and Oh Dae Hwan and Kang Hoon joined the stage in their costumes from their drama.
