Disney Plus’ original series Rookie Cops premiered on 26th and gave the viewers laughter and chill at the same time.

The first two episodes illustrate the harsh reality that freshmen face at the police academy. The students were given a strict guideline of what to do and went through a harsh training process altogether. While doing so, a question was raised in Wi Seung Hyun (Kang Daniel)’s mind about the abusive treatments that the trainees are getting, and he eventually decides to stands against the abusive instructors. Meanwhile, Go Eun Gang (Chae Soo Bin), who was on the waitlist, is given a second chance to enter the university as a freshman leaves the academy due to the harsh training.

Go Eun Gang’s joy did not last long, as she was accused of secretly filming others with a spy camera. While pleading innocence, Eun Gang asks her friends for help. She came across the possibility that her clothes might have been switched in the locker room. If her guess was right, then Ki Han Na (Park Yoo Na) becomes the only suspect. Thinking that the suspect would have a charger to the spy cam, Go Eun Gang searches Ki Han Na’s bed. Just as she found the charger underneath Ki Han Na’s pillow, the door opens, adding tension to the show. As the episode ended on a cliffhanger, viewers are curious to see what will happen to Eun Gang next.

The series also intrigued the viewers with a mystery behind the death of Kim Hyun Soo (Kwak Si Yang).

Rookie Cops will release two episodes every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
