Shin Min Ah and Lee Jong Suk extended a warm helping hand to those in need.

Shin Min Ah’s agency AM Entertainment confirmed that the actress had donated 300 million KRW (about $252,470). According to the company, Shin Min Ah has donated 100 million KRW (about $84,125) to Burn Foundation and the same amount to Asan Medical Center every year.

But this year, she wanted to help vulnerable children amid the spread of COVID-19 and came upon The Korean Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology. She decided to donate another 100 million KRW in order to help out with the kids’ psychological treatment and more.

She’s not the only one spreading good deeds before New Year. Lee Jong Suk also donated 100 million KRW to ChildFund Korea on the 29th. His donations will support young people who have to leave the childcare facilities after turning 18.

This isn’t the first time he made a generous donation for those in need. He had delivered medical gear worth 100 million KRW for medical staff working to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Also, he had supported underprivileged children at home and abroad through UNICEF.

Meanwhile, Shin Min Ah recently finished her drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha in success. Lee Jong Suk, on the other hand, has chosen Big Mouse as his comeback project.
