NCT has achieved yet another milestone, selling over 10 million cumulative albums this year.
NCT has sold nearly 9 million copies of their new albums released in the second half of 2021. The number includes sales of the albums released by NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, and the entire group. Including the 1.85 million copies of albums that were sold in the first half of the year, the whole group sold a total of 10.9 million copies this year as of December 27th.
Notably, NCT DREAM and NCT 127 both earned the title of “triple million sellers.” NCT DREAM has sold roughly over 3.31 million copies of their first studio album Hot Sauce and their repackaged album Hello Future, which was released respectively in May and June. NCT 127’s third studio album Sticker and their repackaged album Favorite, which they dropped in September and October, amassed a total of 3.62 million album sales. NCT’s third studio album Universe, released in December, has recorded more than 1.74 million copies sold so far.
Meanwhile, to close off the year with a special event, NCT will be making their stage appearance at the 2021 MBC Music Festival on December 31st.
