Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon is about to use their perfect teamwork to fight aginst social injustice. Bad and Crazy is about a series of events that occurs to a corrupt, social-climber detective when he comes across the last remaining hero of this era named K. Showrunner Yoo Sun Dong and writer Kim Sae Bom are expected to showcase diverse characters through jaw-dropping, action-packed stories, just like they did with their previous project The Uncanny Encounter. So without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the major characters in the upcoming series Bad and Crazy prior to its premiere on December 17th.
Lee Dong Wook (Ryu Soo Yeol)
Ryu Soo Yeol is the team leader of the anti-corruption unit at Munyang Police Department. Soo Yeol climbed to his current position by taking the police exam after graduating his high school instead of going straight off to the police university. Although he knew nobody in the police world, he got to where he is now with his impressive social skills. He isn’t interested in taking on difficult or dangerous tasks and is only interested in taking the jobs that will give him publicity and money. Just before his performance evaluation, K appears in front of Soo Yeol wearing a helmet and tries to guide him to the right path in a rather forceful way.
Wi Ha Joon (K)
K is a mysterious figure who fights for justice. He drives around the city on a motorcycle wearing a helmet to hide his face while saving the city from corruption. Soon, his first target becomes the corrupt cop, Ryu Soo Yeol. However, things don’t always work out the way he plans and he slowly realizes that the world is far more corrupt than he had thought. Soo Yeol bursts rage towards the society and becomes a step closer to becoming the figure he always wanted to be. Meanwhile, K falls in love with Soo Yeol’s ex-girlfriend, Hee Gyeom, at first sight.
Han Ji Eun (Lee Hee Gyeom)
Lee Hee Gyeom is the narcotics lieutenant at Munyang Police Department. She is the one rare good woman who comes from a wealthy family. She worked hard to become a police officer because she could not forget what she felt like when confronted those who bullied others. After becoming the officer, she does her best to solve many cases even costing her father a fortune. One day, she gets swept into an incident and finds herself in a trouble. And to get her out of the big mess, her douche boyfriend goes on the run to clear her name.
Cha Hak Yeon (Oh Gyung Tae)
Oh Gyung Tae is a police officer at Soyang Police Department. One day, a child approaches him to ask for help finding his missing mother. As he digs deeper into the situation, he realizes that he got himself into a dangerous situation. However, despite the danger that appears ahead, he refuses to give up and continues to uphold his mission. Soo Yeol feels ashamed of himself while watching his friend risking his life for justice.
