‘Let Me Be Your Knight’ Cast Shows Off Their Close Chemistry in Pictorial for Singles Magazine

It seems like the ‘Let Me Be Your Knight’ band LUNA has really turned into a K-pop band.

On the 23rd, magazine Singles unveiled the dreamy pictorial of LUNA, a band from the SBS series Let Me Be Your Knight. LUNA consists of five actors and idols – Lee Jung Young, NU’EST’s JR, Wanna One’s Yoon Ji Sung, AB6IX’s Kim Dong Hyun, and Jang Dong Joo.

The boys appeared as global K-pop stars as LUNA is described as the global group in the drama. And throughout the photoshoot, they boasted brilliant teamwork as if they’ve been working together for a long time.

Though LUNA is a band that only exists in Let Me Be Your Knight, the band didn’t just appear out of thin air. They’ve actually filmed a music video and released a single Beautiful Breakup. Lee Jun Young shared, “It was the first time I had to play an instrument, sing, and even act at the same time. It was more difficult than I imagined. This was the first time I’ve played guitar, so all the blisters were also uncomfortable.”

From singers who auditioned in a survival show to actors who have never performed on stage, the five boys first gathered for the drama. But their friendship continues beyond the screen. JR, the lead of NU’EST, said, “I’ve put the responsibilities as a leader of a group and relying on LUNA members. So seeing a whole new side of me will be quite interesting.”

Kim Dong Hyun also added, “We do group calls quite often and share daily news. And we are genuinely happy if something to celebrate happens to our members. LUNA became a precious team to me.”

“I want to experience various characters across genres and realize what’s precious,” said Lee Jung Young. “And with Let Me Be Your Knight, I want to present healing to people with the story that’s seasoned with rom-com.”

Meanwhile, Let Me Be Your Knight is a rom-com about a K-pop star who suffers from sleepwalking and a woman who pretends to be a doctor and treats him to pay her debts.
