Emergency Declaration will finally greet the audience in January next year.
Emergency Declaration is an aviation term meaning a state of emergency if planes can no longer operate normally by the captain’s judgment when faced with a disaster situation. In July, the movie had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
Above all else, Emergency Declaration boasts its stellar cast, including Song Kang Ho, Lee Byung Hun, Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Nam Gil, Im Si Wan, Kim So Jin, and Park Hae Joon.
As Korea’s first aviation disaster movie, Emergency Declaration portrays those who fight the disaster on the ground and in the air in a breathtakingly realistic way. The turbulence sequence was completed with an all-time production that actually uses parts of a real airplane, allowing the audience an amazing experience. The film will draw sympathy in connection with the recent pandemic that shook the globe.
“Emergency Declaration is eerily timely, and the brilliance of the cast makes it almost inevitable that viewers will be forced to wonder about their own actions if faced with similar circumstances,” said Doris Pfardrescher, president at Well Go USA Entertainment. Well Go USA has snapped up all North American rights to the movie.
Of course, the acting synergy of A-list actors is a highly anticipated feature. From the Parasite star to Squid Game actors, Emergency Declaration will certainly revitalize Korean cinema.
