‘School 2021’ Postpones Its Premiere as Kim Yohan Tests Positive for COVID-19

As WEi’s Kim Yohan tested positive for COVID-19, his upcoming drama School 2021 postponed its premiere by one week.

School 2021 announced its plan to postpone its premiere through an official statement on the 14th. “One of the background actors was confirmed with COVID-19 on the 13th. The entire staff and actors got the test immediately after, and Kim Yohan tested positive,” they stated.

“Kim Yohan doesn’t show any symptoms at present. It has been two weeks since both the background actor and Kim Yohan were administered the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and the two never came in close contact,” they continued. “Therefore, we have decided to postpone the premiere by one week to November 24th.”

The artist’s agency OUI Entertainment also released a statement on the same day. “Kim Yohan was confirmed with COVID-19 on the morning of the 14th. We are now rescheduling his activities and taking necessary measures according to the guidelines of the health authority.”

Meanwhile, School 2021 tells the story of students who choose different paths than going off to colleges. Besides Kim Yohan, Choo Young Woo, Jo Yi Hyun, and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol have also joined the cast.
