SEVENTEEN became a quintuple million-seller with their new smash Attacca.
SEVENTEEN’s 9th mini-album Attacca, released on the 22nd, sold a total of 1,152,351 copies within five days, according to Hanteo Chart. The album now marks the act’s fifth overall “million-seller” album, following their 3rd full album An Ode, 7th mini-album Heng:garae, special album ; [Semicolon], and 8th mini-album Your Choice.
In addition, Attacca has topped Oricon Chart’s daily album ranking (Japan) for four days in a row since its release. Moreover, the smash ranked first in the weekly album ranking (November 1st chart).
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN made their comeback with the title song “Rock with you” and entered major Korean music sites like Bugs and Melon, as well as major Japanese music sites. The song has also debuted at No. 1 on iTunes Top Song Chart in 19 regions, including Argentina and Peru.
The album title “Attacca” is a musical term used as a direction in music at the end of a movement to begin the next without pause. It is an album that conveys SEVENTEEN’s adventurous love by metaphorically expressing uncontrollable feelings and undying passion towards the woman.
