In February, Netflix hosted a content roadshow, “See What’s Next Korea.” Announcing this year’s roster, the platform also invited the production crew and actors to the event.
Disney Plus, scheduled to launch its business in Korea next month, will also promote its original content in a similar fashion. On the 14th, Korea Media Day and APAC content showcase will be held online.
Major officials will appear to introduce the service and business strategies as well as reveal the content lineup. This lineup includes four projects: Moving, Greed, Our Police Course, and Sixth Sense Kiss.
First, Moving is an action fantasy hero drama about a family with superpowers facing their enemy. It’s based on the webtoon by webtoon artist Kang Full. For the showcase, the leading actors – Jo In Sung, Han Hyo Joo, and Ryu Seung Ryong – will attend, alongside Kang Full and director Park In Jae.
Originally known as Zero, Greed is a TV series that combines SF with thriller. Stranger screenwriter Lee Soo Yeo and The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful director Khan Lee joined hands for the project. On the day of the event, Seo Kang Joon, Kim Ah Joong, and Lee Si Young will greet the viewers.
Our Police Course is a campus romance series set in a police academy. It is penned by writer Lee Ha Na and directed by A Korean Odyssey director Kim Byung Soo. Kang Daniel and Chae Soo Bin will attend the showcase.
