Lee Joon Gi will return to the small screen with the new novel-adapted series Again My Life.
According to media outlets, Lee Joon Gi was cast to play the lead role in Again My Life, which is scheduled to air on SBS in April.
Originally written as a novel, Again My Life was also produced as a webtoon and received glowing reviews. The story follows a passionate prosecutor who is given a second chance to live as he wipes out the evil. My Little Baby and Graceful Family director Han Chul Soo will helm the production.
Lee Joon Gi will take on the role of Kim Hee Woo. Kim Hee Woo is a person who has lived a turbulent life. After being the dumbest boy in his high school, it took him three years to enter a law school. He turned into a martial arts athlete after starting his military service but then later passed the bar exam. While investigating the corruption of politician Jo Tae Sup, he is killed but gets another chance to live.
Last year, the actor led tvN series Flower of Evil to success. Attention focuses on his comeback as a prosecutor after two years.
Joining Lee Joon Gi in the series is veteran actor Lee Sung as Jo Tae Sup.
Meanwhile, Lee Joon Gi recently appeared as a guest on the Netflix show Paik’s Spirit, delighting his fans.
