Having dominated the box office with On the Line, CJ ENM chose Romance Without Dating (literal title) as its next front runner.
According to Ten Asia, CJ ENM is planning to release Romance Without Dating, starring Son Seok Goo and Jeon Jong Seo. However, the exact schedule is yet to be confirmed.
Romance Without Dating revolves around a 33-year-man who hates being alone but fears the dating world. The story gets interesting when he meets a 29-year-old woman who has the desire to date but not quite ready for a relationship. The story begins when the two of them meet on a dating app.
It’s a new project by director Jeong Ga Young, who won the Vision Director Award at the 2017 BIFF. Joining her project are Burning and The Call actress Jeon Jong Seo and D.P. actor Son Seok Koo.
CJ ENM’s newly released movie On the Live had swept the box office during the Chuseok holiday, rising from the dips caused by the pandemic. Will Romance Without Dating receive the baton and become another box office hit?
